That's what daddys are for

For Valentine's weekend this year we took a much needed trip to our favorite winter wonderland, Lake Tahoe. The FIVE of us went so it was definitely NOT romantic, but it was some much needed play time.


This is the first year that all three children really enjoyed playing in the snow and it actually lasted longer than our usual five minutes. Of course the amazing weather helped.


Grace loved making snow angels.

I loved Lando in his snow suit, he looked like the perfect little marshmellow man.

Landon is a fan of any holiday that involves candy!

We make it a tradition to go walk around Tahoe village, we happened to get there right as a parade was starting, complete with cookies and hot cocoa, sweeeeet!

This little heavenly dog AKA Rip-a-roo was the star of the parade, seriously put a costume on and my kids will follow you and hug you, they don't care who you're dressed as, Kind of scary.

Nothing is better than a little hot tub after playing in the snow.
