Wednesday night we drove to Buena Park and slept at the Super 8. It was a last minute thing to leave Wednesday and so our hotel near Disney was booked. The Super 8.... was NOT super. All the lights were on motion/timer and would go off randomly, like when you are taking a shower or blow drying your hair.... not cool. Our room which was suppose to be two queens and a pull out (We had Scott's dad with us), was actually two FULL beds w/ no pull out and they ran out of roll away beds. No problem we say, we are flexible, We're the Underwoods after all, we will make make-shift beds on the floor for the kiddos. But no..... they ran out of blankets... SUPER!
Gearing up for our first day
First stop, the carousel
waiting in line for Pinochios ride
This is seriously my favorite, who knew that Pinochios ride would be so scary??? I love their expressions!
He really wanted to see but just couldn't bringhimself to do it.
Hannah is such a protective big sister.
Grace enjoyed it much more than they did.
The Jungle Cruise. Scott really wants to work on this ride, he thinks he has the funniness it takes to give the tours.
The kids saved their money for months so that they could buy their souveniors. Landon was pretty excited to geth these little figrine guys, he carried them around the whole time.
He gave them to Winnie the Pooh.
Next stop, Tom Sawyers Island, another hit for the kiddos!
The kids were pretty excited for all the pirate stuff, Landon is big into prirates right now.
A lucky pot of treasure!
For a early dinner went we to the Blue Bayou. It was so much fun and the food was yummy yummy yummy!
LOVED our pirate hats!
Every time we went to visit Minnie, we would get to the front of the line and she would have to leave, so, sadly we never got her autograph.
