Reasons we LOVE Spring

There are many reasons that I LOVE Spring. The biggest reason is that we love to be outside enjoying the beautiful weather. This weekend we got to take the bicycle built for two with the trailer hitched up, two kids in tow. Hannah rode on her two wheeler, which was a little.... difficult. For whatever reason her balance was off and she fell a lot. At one point she let go to fix her stuffed animal in her basket, and fell. I guess she doesn't realize there is no auto pilot. She took a solid fall, scraping up her leg pretty bad, a nice lady came out of her house with bandaids. Hannah was pretty sad that she had to ride the rest of the way home, injury and all.

Last week when I got home from church, the cute hubby had made bbq hamburgers and hot dogs and had our picnic table set up ready to go. It was so nice to eat outside and enjoy the fresh air.

And lastly, The Easter dresses. The girls picked them out this year and wanted them to match, I'm not sure how much longer that part will last. They looked pretty cute, ready for church. What happened to Hannah's head?!?!?! It actually is almost healed, last week her and Landon were playing pirates and Hannah had to walk the plank, apparently she didn't realize that she didn't have an ocean underneath her and hit concrete. OUCH!!
Again they picked out the outfit, hats and all. Myself, not really a fan of the hats, but they loved them!

Two Wheels

This winter we have been practicing really hard at mastering bike riding. Hannah has learned how to ride her's without training wheels, she's sustained a few injuries, but I think she's gonna live. We still need work on stopping, not just bailing, but she has made so much progress. I love watching these kiddos achieve success!

Grace loves her "big girl bike".

For Christmas Landon got some remote control cars, a big hit for everyone!

LOVE the concentration

PS. Teaching a kid to ride a bike is VERY tiring for the mom and dad. Who knew you would have to do so much running?!?!?
